Following revelations by Ebony’s manager Bullet, that a number of prophets prophesied the death of his artist, acting general secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has admonished celebrities in Ghana not to ignore prophecies.
Speaking as a panelist on Accra-based Okay FM, John Boadu advised celebrities to take prophecies serious, as they could be real.
“I think it is about time such prophecies are not taken for granted; some are indeed real and should be taken seriously, especially if these celebrities are asked to follow directions, they should do that diligently,” he said.
He added that while some of these prophets may be fake, we should still not ignore their prophesies. “Yes, some of these prophets are fake but I think some of their prophecies work. And in doing so, they also need to pray,” he said.
John Boadu also revealed that he has been “disorganized” by the death of Ebony, as he doesn’t understand why such a young and vibrant girl should go so soon.
“I have been very sad since I heard of the passing of this vibrant singer, Ebony. In fact, her dad is a friend. I have been disorganized and can’t even understand why such a person should die,” he said.
