President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has reacted to the shocking death of rising singer, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony Reigns.
Taking to his Facebook page, the president said he was “saddened by the tragic loss of the ‘Maame Hwe’ songstress, who was only 20 years old.
“I am saddened by the news of the death of the young, but extremely talented female artiste, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, aka ‘Ebony Reigns’.,” he said.
“By all accounts, she had a very promising music career. My deepest condolences to her family, and to the families of the two others who died in the tragic accident. #RIPEbony”.
Ebony died in a motor accident on Thursday night (February 8) at Nyame Bekyere near Abesewa in the Brong Ahafo Region.
